NEW PROJECTS
This page lists our projects that we are working on, either at the research or design and construction stages.
Sette Model Co is also working on projects for the European market. And we will also be working on passenger coaches for Europe.
All our models will feature: careful research, construction with a high degree of fine detail and a focus on squareness and fit of components, precision German made Faulhaber motors (used by our builder for many years) with custom made enclosed gearboxes, carefully applied painting & lining and packing in a quality foam lined presentation box to ensure the model reaches you in pristine condition.
Please note that for optimal sound quality one of the speakers will be placed in the smokebox directly under the chimney, this means that there will be no smokebox interior detail in sound fitted models.
A £250 deposit is standard for all of our models.

Our first project for the UK is the London Midland & Scottish Railways 5XP Jubilee 4-6-0 with the Stanier 4000 gallon riveted or welded tenders.
The patterns for the castings etc are being checked now.
Construction of the pilot models begins in August and the models will be delivered to Lee for checking. These models will be fully tested to make sure they run smoothly and checked for detail errors.
We will have samples of the pilot model parts to show at Guildex in September along with a selection of our Japanese OJ models to show our building quality and finish.
For a downloadable brochure and list of available names please see the reservations page.

The next project for the UK will be the GWR Dean "Achilles" 7'-8" single 4-2-2.
Our factory now has the works drawings so we hope to have sample models later this year.
The finished models are due August 2011. Please see the reservations page for details.
